How to play
1. Trace a line. Choose Bus, Rail or Ferry under the map, then click stops in order. Ferries only link waterside stops. Hit Build line.
Region & towns. The map is a whole region of towns. Zoom out (scroll / pinch / －) to see them all and the intercity links; tap a town to dive into its streets. Zoom in to a town to place local stops; zoom out to plan the network. Each town has its own randomised set of places to connect.
Get around. Scroll/pinch to zoom (＋ / －), drag to pan, and in close-up tap any station to look inside — the place, the queue, and your vehicles pulling in. Esc / Back to return.
2. Carry passengers. People appear at stops wanting to reach another place — within a town, or to another town entirely. They board, transfer at interchange stops, and pay a fare on arrival — longer trips, ferries and intercity pay more.
🚄 Go intercity. Pick the Intercity tool and click two or more towns to link their central stations with a fast, high-capacity line. Connect a town's central station to its local stops so travellers can transfer all the way through.
3. Grow & maintain. Add vehicles to busy lines, open new routes, and Service vehicles before wear gets high — neglected vehicles break down, costing money and happiness. Short on cash? The 🏦 Bank (Lines tab) lets you borrow to expand and repay as fares roll in — interest accrues daily, so clear debt when you can.
4. Watch the numbers. Toggle 🔥 Demand to see where people want to travel but can't yet. Each night you get a profit/loss report. Keep funds above zero and riders happy.
5. Weather & event days. The top bar shows today's conditions. Event days — Match Day at the Stadium, Opera Night, the Arts Festival, Market Day and more — surge demand at specific venues, so pre-position vehicles to cash in. Weather sways outdoor demand (sunny Beach Days are golden), and rough seas slow ferries and wear them faster — keep them serviced through storms.
6. Saving & sound. Your city auto-saves every night. Tap 💾 (or S) to save, 🔊 (or M) for sound, and pick Continue on the title screen to return. Shortcuts: 1/2/3 modes, H demand, Space pause.
